Staff & Organizational Sound Wellness Journey

Workplace-wellness education paired with restorative experiences that support stress awareness, recovery between demands and healthy team connection.

60–90-minute introductory journey · Half-day experience · Optional 4–6-week seriesFrontline teams · Educators · Healthcare, nonprofit and support staff

The Staff & Organizational Sound Wellness Journey is a nonclinical educational and experiential program for employees, leaders and workplace teams carrying the mental, emotional or physical demands of their work.

Participants explore mental health as part of everyday workplace well-being and learn to recognize possible signs of stress, overwhelm, nervous-system activation, emotional exhaustion and burnout. Burnout is discussed as an occupational concern connected to chronic workplace stress—not as a personal failure or a problem employees are expected to solve alone.

Guided breath awareness, rhythm, intentional listening, humming, vibration, silence and restorative sound provide opportunities to notice individual responses and practice brief moments of grounding, calm and recovery. Sound is not assumed to be relaxing for everyone; participation, volume, distance and proximity to instruments remain adjustable.

The program also recognizes organizational responsibility. Sustainable staff well-being requires more than a wellness activity. Leaders are encouraged to consider workload, communication, staffing, boundaries, psychological safety and access to appropriate support alongside any individual wellness practices.

Each journey may include a welcome and accessibility check, brief workplace-wellness education, a private personal check-in, optional breath or vocal practice, a facilitated sound experience, gradual reorientation, reflection and a practical sound or breathing practice that may be used during the workday.

Participation is voluntary. No employee is required to close their eyes, lie down, discuss personal experiences or participate in every practice. Participants may change position, move away from an instrument, use hearing protection, step outside or discontinue participation at any time.

Personal statements and individual reactions are not reported to employers. When organizational feedback is requested, only agreed-upon general or aggregate observations are shared. 33 Dhekr does not diagnose, provide psychotherapy, evaluate employees or promise clinical or workplace outcomes.

What participants explore

01

Mental health and workplace well-being

Explore how responsibilities, working conditions and repeated exposure to stress may affect thoughts, emotions, communication, energy and daily functioning.

02

Stress, overwhelm and burnout awareness

Recognize possible signs of activation, emotional exhaustion, mental distance, irritability, reduced motivation and difficulty concentrating.

03

Recognizing activation and depletion

Notice when the body feels tense, restless or constantly on guard, as well as moments of fatigue, numbness, withdrawal, low energy or mental fog.

04

Sound, rhythm, breath and voice

Experience how tempo, repetition, vibration, volume, silence, breathing and optional humming may influence present-moment awareness.

05

Recovery between workplace demands

Practice brief, accessible pauses that may be used between meetings, client interactions, transitions or emotionally demanding tasks.

06

Team connection and responsibility

Consider supportive rhythms of communication, boundaries and recovery while recognizing that healthy working conditions remain an organizational responsibility.
